As part of the Wolverhampton Society of Artists exhibition which is currently on show at Wolverhampton Art Gallery, Ed Isaacs will be demonstrating his urban sketching technique in the Gallery on Saturday 6th February between 10am and 2pm.
Ed will be sketching people and scenes within the gallery and passing on tips and ideas to anyone who is interested to find out more about the growing urban sketching art movement. This will be a great opportunity to see and be inspired by a selection of Ed's wonderful sketches and sketch pads and everyone is encouraged to get involved so please bring along your sketch pads and pens and have a go for yourself. All visitors will be given a ticket and entered into a prize draw to win one of Ed’s sketches.
After a career in local government and consultancy, Wolverhampton-based Ed is now focusing on his work as an artist and illustrator. He is passionate about drawing and his favoured medium is pen and ink with a watercolour wash. He exhibits regularly with the Wolverhampton Society of Artists and the Royal Birmingham Society of Artists.
